I like being in shape.

I've been skinny, I've been muscley, and I've been smooshy. When I can devote the time and energy to it, I prefer to be fit. When time permits, I'll start using this space to chronicle a work-out program that, a few years ago, took me from benching 125 lbs. to 340 lbs. in about 6 months. As I sit here (3/14/2025) I can bench 215 lbs. with very little warmup. At 60 years old (it feels weird to admit that), that's not bad. I'd prefer to be benching 300, but these days I have to respect what my body can do, and I'm not exactly a gym rat. I've got grandkids that I'd rather spend time with.

Even so, I'll start putting updates on here to journal my progress. I may even share the workout program that worked so well for me back in the day.
